Compulsory Third Party (CTP) cover is not included as part of Comprehensive cover, but you can choose to take out CTP on its own or in addition to Comprehensive. CTP covers you for your legal liability under Motor Vehicle (Third Party Insurance) Act 1972 or any amendment or replacement Act.  You’re covered for death or bodily injury, sickness, or disease sustained by any person other than you or the passenger in your vehicle, caused by any accident in Solomon Islands with the insured vehicle.

Under Solomon Islands road rules, all motor vehicles are required to have a valid CTP policy.
